Caring for your cut flowers
General tips for prolonging the life of your cut flowers
1) Always use a clean vase.
2) Clean vase with bleach between uses (a small amount of dilute beach left in the vase will not harm the flowers).
3) Keep your arrangement out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources. Flowers last longer if kept cooler.
4) Keep your flowers hydrated, whether in foam or a vase they need to drink.
5) Recut stems every other day to prevent airblocks. These will leave the flower head dry and drooping. (doesnt apply to arrangements in foam)
6) Remove any foliage which would be below water level as this will make water cloudy and smelly!
